A Key Management Architecture for Digital Cinema

The present paper gives an overview of the Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) specification, analyzes its security architecture in detail and identify some open issues. In addition, we show how the secure generation of DCI compliant keys is integrated into the production workflow of a well-known post-production studio by means of a key management architecture.
